　　In its development process, Hangmin has firmly established the guiding principle of “protecting the environment to enhance our image, and conserving energy and reducing emissions to boost efficiency.” It has thoroughly implemented the Scientific Outlook on Development, actively promoted energy conservation and emission reduction, and made every effort to advance clean production. To date, several enterprises have successfully passed the clean production audit and acceptance, and a green, clean production system has been basically established. Each enterprise has gradually adjusted and optimized its structure, continuously carried out technological upgrades, updated production equipment, and deepened benchmarking and potential exploration. We have also focused on the treatment of “three wastes,” ensuring that all three types of waste meet emission standards. We have successively completed projects including wastewater treatment, smoke control modifications for setting machines, and flue gas desulfurization upgrades for cogeneration plants. Furthermore, we have enhanced the comprehensive utilization of resources by consistently pursuing initiatives such as reusing boiler waste heat in water, utilizing waste heat from setting machine exhaust gases, recovering dilute caustic soda from mercerizing processes, extracting terephthalic acid from alkaline wastewater with reduced alkali content, and recycling fly ash.
